2008 Pig in the House Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep red brick in colour, this wine has aromas of berries mint and dusty oak. Delicate flavours of wild fruits and earth are well balanced by firm tannins. The palate is complex with well integrated American oak leading to an harmonious finish. This Cabernet is well matched with roast vegetables, pasta, pizza and a wide variety of meats. Enjoy now until the end of 2013.
2009 Rosnay Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
The 2009 vintage SSB is delicious, a smooth and balanced blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc from Orange. It opens with delicious lime and gooseberry flavours on the nose, leading to a balnced, light bodies, crisp and cleansing palate, with the typical grassy, citrussy flavours of Semillon and good acid balance.
2008 Gardners Ground Shiraz
This wine was produced off our Block 5 which was planted in 2001 into soil which had been treated organically since 1996. The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the evening and processed at a local winery under the direction of Folkert Janssen. The resulting wine exhibits ripe, sweet fruit with rich peppery flavours and soft tannins.
This wine won a Gold Medal in class 62 at the 2009 Cowra Wine show and was awarded the Greg Johnston Trophy for the 'Best Red Wine in Region'.
This wine has again been awarded a Gold Medal at the Cowra Regional Wine Show and Best Red of the Region along with Best Organic Wine of the region
