My husband and I have always considered ourselves to be citizens of the world. Both fine art and antiques mavens, we have spent countless hours going from one estate sale to another searching the most stately treasures for our home. We also love to travel, having visited 27 countries thus far during our marriage. There truly is nothing we love better than to expand our horizons and discover something new and interesting.

Oddly, a big gap in our knowledge base had to do with wine and wine making. Several of our friends are quite expert in the area of wine, and we always felt a little sad that we could not really share in their passion for the topic. That is, until last summer, when we decided to embark on an educational journey that took us to France, Italy, Australia and California.

Now that we are conversant with the world’s great vintages, understand how the land impacts the final product and enjoy a wide range of varietals ourselves, we are so much happier. We encourage anyone wishing to gain a great deal of agricultural, historical and epicurean understanding to join us in our love for wine!
